A graduate from National Institute of Design, Shweta Ratanpura is a Graphic Designer and Visual Artist based out of Pune. She represented India at the WorldSkills Kazan 2019 and became the first ever woman candidate from India to win the Bronze Medal at the WorldSkills International platform. She is also the recipient of the Ratan Tata Ford Foundation Scholarship. Apart from various internships and student exchange programs, she also got the opportunity to participate and excel in Global competitions like Asia Skills 2018 and Russia Skills 2019 during her course of training. She is currently working at the Samsung Research and Development Centre in India.

WorldSkills Kazan 2019, the 45th WorldSkills Competition came to an end. 1,354 young professionals from 63 countries and regions tried their strength in 56 skills and made this Competition a truly tremendous and unforgettable event. Thanks to everyone who was part of this outstanding Competition! India made its way to 13th spot after winning its first ever Gold Medal at the WorldSkills platform.
With 4 Medals and 15 Medallions, India made its presence felt.
