World skills Leipzig 2013, Graphic Design Technology

The Winner of Medallion of Excellence & the Best of Nation Award at WorldSkills 2013 in Graphic Design Technology, Mr. Arun Raj's career growth has been tremendous. From Madurai to Leipzig, he embarked a great journey of professional growth and excellence. He says, “WorldSkills changed my life. I started receiving offers from Multinational companies in India and Germany”. After competing at Leipzig, he started his own company with over 60 employees which raised 2 million $ and was later on acquired by Freshworks Inc. (earlier called Freshdesk), a multinational company with over 2500 Designers on board and is currently the Director of Design.

WorldSkills 2017 - Graphic Design Technology

Leipzig WorldSkills 2017

From July 2nd to July 7th in the year 2013, the worldcup of trades took place in Leipzig. The age limit for the contenders was 23 years and there were 46 different skills for the competitions. More than 1000 contenders fought for the medals in WorldSkills Leipzig in the year 2013. Over 5000 visitors witnessed the competition and festival of skills. The carrier advice was also given to the students attended the event.
